Role Context
UBA Kenya is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Branch Manager to lead one of our Business Offices within the Retail Banking division. This is a leadership role for a commercially driven professional ready to accelerate business growth, drive profitability and deliver exceptional customer experiences at the branch level. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding market share, identifying new business opportunities and positioning the Bank as the preferred financial partner within the local market.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for overall branch performance, including ownership of the P&L, ensuring the achievement of revenue and profitability targets and optimizing both human and operational resources. You will also drive customer acquisition and retention, deepen relationships and maximize share of wallet across all customer segments. In this role, you will lead branch operations, ensuring seamless service delivery and a consistent, high-quality customer experience across all touchpoints. You will champion compliance with regulatory and internal policies, maintain strong operational standards and foster a high-performance, customer-centric culture within your team.
Qualifications and Requirements
We are looking for a proactive and business-focused leader with strong banking knowledge, proven experience in sales or operations and a passion for business development. The ideal candidate is analytical, tech-savvy and possesses excellent communication, networking and relationship management skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
