Position Overview
We are seeking a Business Analyst to support the design and implementation of healthcare technology solutions. This role involves working with stakeholders (like ministry of health, Social Health Authority and Digital health agency) to gather requirements, translating them into clear technical documentation, and ensuring alignment across development teams. Key responsibilities include data mapping for healthcare EDI standards (X12, FHIR, HL7), taifacare platforms, supporting user acceptance testing, and creating and documenting workflows for core processes like claims, eligibility, and prior authorizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with healthcare stakeholders (payers, providers, regulators) to gather and analyze business requirements
- Develop BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, and functional wireframes
- Translate regulatory and operational requirements into technical specifications
- Work closely with developers, testers, and solution architects to align system functionality
- Conduct data mapping for healthcare EDI formats (e.g., X12, FHIR, HL7 v2.x)
- Support UAT planning and execution with clinical and operational users
- Collaborate with capacity building, technical support, and stakeholder engagement teams to continuously gather and refine requirements based on field feedback and system usage.
- Work closely with quality assurance teams to validate that system enhancements meet documented requirements and user expectations.
- Participate in product design and enhancement meetings to ensure alignment with user needs and national priorities
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of requirements, decisions, and system changes.
- Perform other duties assigned to support T4H scope
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information technology, health informatics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
- 5-10 years of experience as a business analyst within digital health or software development
- Strong understanding of healthcare systems, health information exchange, and digital health platforms.
- Proficient in creating BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, and wireframes using tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Visio.
- Skilled in supporting UAT, managing requirement traceability, and handling change requests throughout the project lifecycle. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Strong documentation and analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
