Primary Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the elicitation, analysis, and documentation of business and technical requirements from diverse stakeholders including MOH, DHA, USG partners, and health facility users.
  • Translate user needs into clear, actionable requirements for development teams, including process flows, variable maps, wireframes, and mock screens.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement sessions and coordinate the requirements sign-off process to ensure consensus and commitment.
  • Collaborate with capacity building, technical support, and stakeholder engagement teams to continuously gather and refine requirements based on field feedback and system usage.
  • Work closely with quality assurance teams to validate that system enhancements meet documented requirements and user expectations.
  • Participate in product design and enhancement meetings to ensure alignment with user needs and national
  • health priorities.
    Support interoperability efforts between TaifaCare, HIV Data Warehouse, and other digital health platforms.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of requirements, decisions, and system changes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the Kenya HMIS Project.

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Health Informatics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role within digital health or software development.
  • Proven experience in requirements elicitation, validation, and prioritization using industry-standard techniques.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare systems, health information exchange, and digital health platforms.
  • Experience with mHealth and eHealth applications is highly desirable.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Strong documentation and analytical skills.
