The Role
Business Development & Portfolio Growth
Drive acquisition, growth, and retention of SME and Business Banking customers.
Identify new business opportunities and expand market share within assigned segments.
Deepen existing customer relationships through cross-selling of the Bank’s products and services.
Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers.
Provide tailored financial solutions that meet customer needs and support business growth.
Deliver exceptional customer experience and resolve customer concerns promptly.
Credit Assessment & Portfolio Management
Structure, analyze, and prepare quality credit proposals.
Conduct financial statement analysis and recommend appropriate lending solutions.
Monitor portfolio performance to ensure portfolio quality and profitability.
Risk & Compliance
Ensure adherence to the Bank’s credit policies, regulatory requirements, and operational procedures.
Actively manage portfolio risk, including PAR and NPL accounts, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
Maintain high standards of governance, compliance, and operational excellence.
Skills, Competencies and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Banking, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in SME, Business Banking, Corporate Banking, or Relationship Management within a financial institution.
Proven track record in business acquisition, portfolio growth, and revenue generation.
Strong credit appraisal and financial analysis skills.
Excellent negotiation, networking, sales, and relationship management capabilities.
Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills with the ability to meet challenging targets.
Demonstrated understanding of banking regulations, risk management, and credit policies.
