Responsibilities or duties
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the logistics and supply chain market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients and key stakeholders.
- Promote logistics, courier, freight forwarding, transportation, and warehousing solutions.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and sales negotiations.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and service agreements.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Maintain an updated sales pipeline and CRM records.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure smooth service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Follow up on leads, inquiries, and customer feedback.
- Participate in networking events and industry meetings to generate business opportunities.
- Prepare periodic sales and business development reports.
Qualifications or requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years’ experience in business development or sales within logistics, courier, freight forwarding industry.
- Proven track record in corporate sales and client acquisition.
- Strong understanding of logistics and freight services.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and achieve targets.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong networking and relationship management skills.
