Position Summary:
To drive bank‑wide growth and uptake of Bancassurance Retail products in order to deliver sustainable revenue growth, increased insurance penetration, and market leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Performance Management
To build and sustain a high‑performance culture Bancassurance Retail Sales team by driving productivity, ensuring disciplined execution of sales plans, and strengthening performance management, staff development, and recognition initiatives.
Strategy Development & Execution
To develop and ensure implementation Bancassurance sales strategy aligned to business objectives, driving target achievement across all products, regions, branches, and channels.
Business Growth & Revenue Optimization
To drive sustainable and profitable growth of the Bancassurance portfolio by expanding market share, increasing insurance penetration, developing new revenue streams, and leveraging the NBK and Group branch network to deliver strong customer value and financial results.
Sales Performance Monitoring & Analytics
Monitor sales performance and operations by tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) such as premiums, policy counts, persistency ratios, cross-sell rates, and cost efficiency.
Partnerships & Distribution Management
To strengthen product competitiveness and expand distribution by driving strategic collaborations and business development initiatives, resulting in broader market reach, effective partnerships, and accelerated bancassurance growth.
Governance, Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure compliance with CBK, IRA, and internal governance standards by promoting ethical selling practices, minimizing mis-selling risks, and adhering to audit and operational controls.
Customer Engagement & Brand Visibility
Drive customer engagement and enhance brand visibility through co-branded marketing campaigns, financial literacy initiatives, and community outreach programs.
Qualification, Skills & Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Insurance, or related field from a recognized institution.
Insurance qualifications (COP mandatory; ACII, AIIK, LOMA or equivalent
Minimum of 8 years’ experience in sales leadership, including at least 5 years in Bancassurance or Insurance sales management, with a proven sales track record. Experience within Banking or related financial Institutions will be an added advantage.
Experience working with cross‑functional teams.
