Background

Our client, a growing premium beauty, wellness and regenerative care business, is looking for an experienced and commercially driven Business Development Manager to lead business growth, develop strategic partnerships and strengthen relationships with existing corporate clients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building partnerships with other brands and organisations, and ensuring that existing high-value client relationships are professionally managed and continuously developed.

This is a relationship-driven and commercially focused role suited to an experienced business development professional who understands how to open doors, build trust, maintain strategic accounts and convert relationships into sustainable business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to generate sustainable revenue growth.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across different sectors.
  • Build strategic partnerships and collaborations with other brands, companies and organisations.
  • Identify opportunities for corporate partnerships, joint initiatives, referrals and mutually beneficial collaborations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing large-scale and high-value clients.
  • Act as a key relationship contact for selected corporate and strategic accounts.
  • Understand client needs and identify opportunities to expand existing relationships.
  • Generate leads through networking, referrals, direct outreach, industry events and strategic partnerships.
  • Arrange and conduct business meetings, presentations and partnership discussions.
  • Prepare proposals, partnership concepts and commercial presentations where required.
  • Negotiate business opportunities and partnership arrangements within approved parameters.
  • Maintain an active business development pipeline and ensure consistent follow-up.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging business opportunities.
  • Represent the organisation professionally when engaging prospective partners and clients.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure commitments made to clients and partners are effectively delivered.
  • Maintain accurate records of prospects, partnerships, client interactions and opportunities.
  • Prepare regular business development reports covering leads, opportunities, partnerships, client retention and revenue prospects.
  • Support the organisation's broader growth and brand development initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years proven experience in Business Development, Sales, Partnerships, Key Account Management or a related commercial role.
  • Demonstrated track record of generating new business and developing strategic relationships.
  • Proven experience managing corporate, institutional or large-scale clients.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Experience developing partnerships or collaborations between businesses or brands.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation and closing skills.
  • Ability to identify commercial opportunities beyond traditional sales channels.
  • Excellent client relationship and account management skills.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and business presentation skills.
  • Ability to engage confidently with senior decision-makers and business owners.
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of revenue generation.
  • Highly organised with excellent follow-up and pipeline management skills.
  • Self-driven, proactive and comfortable working with significant autonomy.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Communications, Hospitality, Healthcare Management or a related field is an advantage.

Industry Experience

Experience in healthcare, aesthetics, wellness, hospitality, luxury, retail, corporate services, professional services, FMCG, technology or other relationship-driven industries will be considered.

The key consideration is demonstrated business development and relationship-management success—not the candidate's specific industry background.
