Role Summary:

HFCB Kenya has an exciting new position for a Business Development Officer – Bancassurance. The role involves driving the growth of bancassurance products by identifying business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and promoting insurance products through the bank's distribution channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop business opportunities for bancassurance products.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Promote and sell insurance products through the bank's channels.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to revenue growth.
  • Provide training and support to staff on bancassurance products.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Prepare reports and documentation.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification in insurance (e.g., ACII, AIIK) is an added advantage.
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in bancassurance, insurance sales, or business development.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance products and bancassurance operations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
