Responsibilities or duties
The Business Development Officer will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing business development strategies for bancassurance products.
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within partner banks.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with bank partners and their customers.
- Achieving sales targets for bancassurance products.
- Providing training and support to bank staff on bancassurance products.
- Monitoring market trends and competitor activities.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the financial services or insurance sector.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of bancassurance products and the banking industry.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience needed
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in sales and business development, with a focus on bancassurance.
