The Business Development Executive will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying opportunities, generating leads, acquiring new clients, and strengthening existing business partnerships. The role involves client prospecting, pitching company solutions, negotiating contracts, and achieving set revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and research new business opportunities and potential clients
  • Generate and qualify leads through cold calls, networking, referrals, and digital channels
  • Conduct client meetings, product/service presentations, and sales pitches
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and sales agreements
  • Manage end-to-end sales process including negotiation and closure
  • Maintain a structured and updated sales pipeline and reporting system
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business
  • Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify trends and business insights
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and service delivery
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade fairs, and networking functions when required

• Strong lead generation and sales conversion skills • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities • Proven ability to work under pressure and achieve sales targets • Strong customer-relationship and networking skills • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) — CRM experience is an added advantage • Good time-management, organization, and follow-up skills • Self-driven, ambitious, and target-oriented • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills • High integrity and professional conduct • Problem-solving and critical thinking ability • Confidence and resilience in a competitive environment
• Diploma or Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Sales, or a related field • 1 to 3 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Client Acquisition, or a similar commercial role preferably Logistics industry
