Cake Preparation & Production: Bake cakes to order or prepare pre-baked cakes, along with crafting various icings, fillings, and frostings. Cake Decoration: Design and execute intricate decorations using techniques such as fondant, buttercream, piping, and edible art. Customer Interaction: Consult with customers to discuss and finalize cake designs, provide recommendations, and manage their expectations. Design & Creativity: Develop new cake designs, ideas, and flavor profiles to meet client specifications and stay current with trends. Quality & Safety: Conduct quality assurance checks, maintain high standards for decorated cakes, and ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are met. Inventory & Organization: Manage and monitor inventory of cake decorating supplies, ingredients, and equipment, ensuring adequate stock for production. Team Collaboration: Work with other chefs and team members to ensure a smooth workflow, coordinate tasks, and provide guidance to junior decorators if applicable. Workstation Management: Keep the workstation and all equipment clean, sanitized, and organized according to health and safety standards.
