Role Description
The Insurance Sales Representative position at ICEA LION Group is a full-time on-site role based in Nairobi County, Kenya. The representative will engage with prospective and existing clients to promote and sell insurance products, provide tailored advice, and ensure customer satisfaction. Additional responsibilities include identifying client needs, creating risk management solutions, maintaining accurate records, and achieving individual and team sales targets.
Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge of insurance sales, contract negotiation, and strategy
- Strong communication and client relationship management skills
- Proficiency in analyzing customer needs to recommend appropriate insurance products
- Industry experience, preferably with COP (Certificate of Proficiency) certification in insurance
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
- Previous experience in a regulated sector such as law enforcement, including familiarity with criminal investigations, evidence collection, or police officer diligence, is advantageous
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Insurance, or a related field is preferred
