ABOUT RISELINK HR CONSULTANCY
Riselink HR Consultancy is recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading healthcare institution.
Job Purpose
Support surgical services by ensuring proper decontamination, sterilization, storage, and distribution of surgical instruments and medical equipment while assisting in theatre procedures as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment.
- Prepare sterile instrument sets for surgical procedures.
- Monitor sterilization equipment and maintain sterilization records.
- Ensure proper storage and distribution of sterile supplies.
- Assist in preparing operating theatres before procedures.
- Support theatre staff during surgical procedures as assigned.
- Conduct routine inventory of theatre instruments and supplies.
- Report damaged or malfunctioning equipment.
- Maintain infection prevention and occupational safety standards.
- Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement activities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Certificate in CSSD, Theatre Technology, or Operating Theatre Techniques.
- Relevant professional certification where applicable.
- Minimum one (1) year experience in a hospital theatre or CSSD.
