Job Purpose

The Capability & Skills Lead will be responsible for shaping a future-ready workforce by driving strategic learning, upskilling, and reskilling initiatives. This role partners with business leaders to align capability development with organizational priorities, embed a culture of continuous learning, and deliver measurable impact at scale.

Key Responsibilities

Health and Safety

  • Uphold the company code of conduct, policies, and procedures, ensuring integrity and accountability.
  • Adhere to and champion safety, health, and wellbeing policies in all actions and decisions.
  • Embed Health, Safety, and Wellbeing principles into all learning and capability initiatives.

Strategic Capability Development

  • Partner with business leaders to identify and address critical skill gaps through targeted learning plans.
  • Drive a culture of continuous learning with a focus on upskilling and reskilling for current and emerging roles.
  • Design learner-centric experiences using modern learning models, tools, and technologies.
  • Create scalable, blended learning pathways and integrate best practices to innovate learning approaches.

Learning Implementation and Facilitation

  • Build advanced facilitation capabilities across the organization.
  • Leverage innovative learning technologies to enable capability transformation at scale.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver skill transformation programs.
  • Co-create learning solutions with communities of practice, subject matter experts, and third-party providers.

Measurement and Impact

  • Establish and track metrics to evaluate the business impact of learning interventions.
  • Use data and learner insights to continuously improve the learner experience.
  • Design and own learning standards, frameworks, and policies to ensure quality and alignment with strategic goals.

Culture and Engagement

  • Lead learning campaigns and engagement initiatives to inspire curiosity and growth.
  • Establish and embed a coaching culture, including accreditation and development of internal coaching faculties.
  • Influence stakeholders to embed a learning culture that fuels growth and innovation.

Talent and Leadership Development

  • Design and implement leadership, performance, and talent development initiatives.
  • Define and maintain career pathway frameworks to empower employee growth.

  • Experience in coaching and building line manager capability in performance management
