Deliverables
- Develop and maintain the five-month delivery plan for the assignment, including milestones, stakeholder map, dependencies, reporting rhythm, and a consolidated tracker across agreed outputs.
- Coordinate a priority sustainable and inclusive finance programme workstream, maintaining work plans and milestone trackers, supporting stakeholder engagement and follow-up actions, preparing briefs, presentations and documentation, and completing a final status and handover note.
- Support delivery of a sustainable capital markets convening, including the delivery tracker, internal and external inputs, presentation and briefing materials, pre-event action logs, and post-event follow-up note.
- Coordinate capital markets communications and knowledge products, including a communications and events work plan, sector playbook, flagship initiative documentation, success stories, and agreed briefs, presentations, blogs, or newsletter content.
- Maintain portfolio coordination and reporting materials, including an up-to-date tracker or dashboard, donor and internal reporting inputs, organised documentation and action logs, and a final consolidated handover pack.
Experience Required
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in a financial markets environment, with exposure to capital markets, sustainable finance, or financial sector development preferred.
- Programme or project coordination experience across work plans, milestones, risks, consultants, and multi-stakeholder activities.
- Experience preparing high-quality briefs, reports, presentations, or communications products for diverse audiences.
- Experience coordinating internal teams, external consultants, partners, service providers, or similar delivery stakeholders.
Technical Requirements
- Strong planning and tracking capability, including milestone management, action logs, risk updates, and handover documentation.
- Strong research, analytical, writing, and presentation skills.
- Ability to translate workstream inputs into clear, client-ready materials.
- Ability to manage several concurrent workstreams and maintain quality under tight delivery timelines.
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Finance, or a related field from a recognised university.
Language Requirements
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- French and/or local African languages would be advantageous.
Soft Skills
- Highly organised and proactive.
- Comfortable creating structure across multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management and follow-through.
- Able to work independently within an output-based consultancy.
- Responsive to agreed reporting rhythms and review points.
- Strong attention to detail and delivery discipline.
Required Start Date: As soon as contracting is completed
