About the Role
Africa Inuka Hospital is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya. The Cashier will be responsible for handling all financial transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring excellent customer service for our patients.
Responsibilities
The Cashier will be expected to perform the following duties:
- Receive and process patient payments for services rendered.
- Issue receipts and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
- Balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Handle inquiries regarding billing and payments.
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Cashier or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in handling cash and credit card transactions.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience
Previous experience in a cashier role, preferably in a healthcare setting, is advantageous.
Work Environment
This is a full-time position based at Africa Inuka Hospital in Nairobi.
