Transaction management: Process sales, including scanning items, calculating costs, and collecting payments (cash, credit, debit). Customer service: Greet customers, answer questions about products or services, and resolve complaints or issues. Cash handling: Count the cash in the drawer at the beginning and end of shifts, provide correct change, and track transactions to report discrepancies. Returns and exchanges: Handle customer returns and exchanges accurately according to company policies. Checkout area maintenance: Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies. Stock and inventory: Assist with stocking shelves, monitoring inventory levels, and helping customers locate items. Promotions: Inform customers about and redeem stamps, coupons, loyalty programs, and special offers.

Customer service: Ability to be friendly, professional, and helpful to customers. Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills for assisting customers and collaborating with coworkers. Numerical ability: Strong skills in math for handling cash accurately and performing calculations.

Bachelor's degree in related field
