Job Summary
We are hiring! We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling customer transactions, providing excellent service, and ensuring a smooth and positive checkout experience for all customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and provide courteous, professional service.
- Process sales transactions accurately using cash registers, POS systems, or other payment methods.
- Receive cash, card, mobile, and other forms of payment while ensuring accuracy.
- Issue receipts, refunds, exchanges, or change as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient checkout area.
- Assist customers with inquiries and provide information about products or services.
- Monitor and report any discrepancies in cash handling or transactions.
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding sales, security, and customer service.
- Support other team members and assist with general store operations when needed.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Previous cashier, retail, or customer service experience is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle cash and transactions accurately.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Friendly, professional attitude with a commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain organized.
- Reliability, punctuality, and willingness to learn.
