CASHIER

Job Summary

The Cashier will be responsible for handling customer transactions accurately and efficiently while providing friendly and professional service.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and process customer orders and payments.
• Handle cash, card, and other approved payment methods accurately.
• Issue receipts and maintain accurate transaction records.
• Balance the cash register at the beginning and end of shifts.
• Respond to customer enquiries and provide assistance where required.
• Maintain a clean and organised cashier station.
• Report discrepancies, shortages, or transaction issues to the Supervisor.
• Follow company cash-handling and security procedures.
• Work closely with bartenders, service staff, and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain professional customer service at all times.

Ideal Candidate

• Previous cashier or customer-service experience is an advantage.
• Good numeracy and attention to detail.
• Honest, reliable, and trustworthy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a busy environment.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
