Background

On behalf of our Tanzania based Client, We Are Looking for a Competent and Experienced Category Manager.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop category strategies aligned with brand objectives and business goals.
• Conduct market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and consumer trend tracking.
• Lead the ideation, development, and launch of new products within the category.
• Collaborate with R&D, packaging, and marketing teams to ensure timely product development.
• Develop and execute marketing campaigns for products within the category.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Food Science, or a related field from a recognized university.
• Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
• Minimum of 5-8 years' experience in category management, product marketing, or NPD roles.
• Proven experience in product portfolio management, NPD, and marketing strategy execution.
