Job Purpose

To support nurses and other healthcare professionals in delivering quality patient care by assisting patients with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal hygiene, feeding, dressing, and mobility.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the supervising nurse.
• Prepare patients for examinations and medical procedures.
• Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable patient care environments.
• Assist nurses during clinical procedures and patient care activities.
• Support infection prevention and control measures.
• Maintain accurate records of patient care activities as assigned.
• Provide compassionate and respectful care while maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervising nurse or management.

Qualifications and Experience

• Certificate in Nurse Assisting or Certified Nurse Assistant training from a recognized institution.
• Relevant professional certification where applicable.
• Previous experience in a healthcare facility is an added advantage.
