Chaperone (30 Positions)
Overview
Chaperones assist in athlete notification and escorting during doping control missions. They ensure that athletes are properly informed about testing procedures and remain under observation until the sample collection process is completed.

Duties and Responsibilities
The Chaperone will be responsible for:

Notifying athletes selected for testing in accordance with ADAK guidelines.
Escorting athletes to the Doping Control Station while maintaining continuous observation.
Ensuring athletes understand their rights and responsibilities during sample collection.
Assisting Doping Control Officers in documentation and athlete handling procedures.
Reporting any issues, refusals, or delays during athlete escort.
Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism throughout the assignment.
Participating in pre-mission briefings and post-mission debriefs.
Supporting awareness and education activities where applicable.
Key Attributes and Skills

High personal integrity and commitment to ethical conduct.
Ability to follow strict procedures and maintain confidentiality.
Good communication skills and respectful interaction with athletes.
Physically fit to accompany athletes as required.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Terms of Engagement and Remuneration
All positions are offered on an On-Need Basis. Engagement will depend on the Agency’s operational requirements.
Payment will be made upon completion of assignments, as per the approved rates stipulated in ADAK’s Finance Policy.

Applicants must ensure that they fulfill the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010, and obtain valid clearance certificates from the following organizations:

Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) – Tax Compliance Certificate
Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) – Loan Repayment Compliance Certificate
Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) – Certificate of Good Conduct
Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) – Integrity Clearance Certificate
Credit Reference Bureau (CRB) – Credit Status Report
Applications should be submitted online through ADAK’s recruitment portal by 18th November 2025.
