Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
• Strong experience in Purchase Accounting, P2P processes, spend control, and procurement finance.
• Hands-on SAP experience, particularly MIGO, MIRO, GRIR, vendor accounting, reconciliations, and month-end closing.
• Strong understanding of procurement controls, PO and quotation compliance, expense accounting, vendor reconciliation, and purchase-related controls.
• Strong analytical, financial control, problem-solving, and reporting skills, with experience in FMCG or manufacturing environments preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and control the end-to-end P2P and purchase accounting cycle, ensuring proper authorization, documentation, accounting, and reconciliation.
• Review SAP MIGO, MIRO, GRIR, vendor accounts, purchase orders, invoices, advances, and clearing accounts for accuracy and timely resolution.
• Ensure compliance with procurement, quotation, PO, expense, and accounting policies while identifying unauthorized, duplicate, or incorrect transactions.
• Analyse purchasing and vendor spend, price variances, cost increases, and process gaps to identify cost-saving and control opportunities.
• Lead month-end purchase-related reconciliations and prepare MIS covering spend, GRIR ageing, open POs, vendor advances, and control exceptions.
