The Social House is seeking a skilled and experienced Chef de Partie – Banquets & Meetings to prepare and present food for meetings, conferences, and banquets. The successful candidate will supervise the kitchen section, maintain recipe and presentation standards, and coordinate with Banqueting, Events, and Service teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present food for meetings, conferences, and banquets.
  • Supervise the kitchen section and guide junior team members.
  • Maintain recipe, portion, and presentation standards.
  • Coordinate with Banqueting, Events, and Service teams.
  • Support event preparation, buffet setup, and replenishment.
  • Monitor quality, stock, wastage, hygiene, and food safety.
  • Assist with menu planning and special event requirements.

Requirements:

  • Certificate or Diploma in Culinary Arts, Food Production, or a related field.
  • At least three years experience in banqueting, events, or high-volume food production, preferably in a four- or five-star hotel.
  • Strong food preparation, presentation, and hygiene skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict timelines.
  • Good leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Demonstrates our brand values.
