Chef de Partie

Job Purpose

To prepare high-quality meals while maintaining kitchen standards, food safety, and consistency in food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present dishes according to established recipes and standards.
  • Supervise assigned kitchen section.
  • Ensure food quality, consistency, and timely service.
  • Maintain hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness standards.
  • Monitor stock levels and minimize food wastage.

Minimum Requirements

  • Certificate or Diploma in Culinary Arts or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role.

Key Competencies

  • Culinary expertise and food presentation.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Time management and organization.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Teamwork and ability to perform in a fast-paced kitchen.
