Job Summary
NENE GREENS AFRICA is looking for a talented and passionate Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality meals, leading kitchen operations, and ensuring excellent food standards that provide guests with a memorable dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present high-quality dishes according to menu standards.
- Develop and improve recipes while maintaining consistency in taste and presentation.
- Supervise food preparation and ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness.
- Manage kitchen inventory, monitor supplies, and reduce food waste.
- Train and support kitchen team members.
- Ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals.
- Maintain proper use and care of kitchen equipment.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar kitchen leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management.
- Ability to create quality meals while maintaining consistency.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Strong leadership and teamwork abilities.
