Job Summary

Our client, a high-end restaurant in Kilimani, Nairobi, is seeking highly skilled and experienced Chefs to join their dynamic culinary team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and present high-quality meals in line with restaurant standards.
• Manage hot kitchen operations, including grilling and food preparation.
• Prepare pizzas and other menu items while maintaining consistency in quality and presentation.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
• Monitor food quality, portion control, and minimize wastage.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Age: 30-35 years.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a reputable restaurant, hotel, or fine-dining establishment.
• Certificate or Diploma in Culinary Arts, Food Production, or a related field.
• Proven experience in hot kitchen operations, grilling, and food preparation.
• Experience as a Pizza Chef is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• Passion for culinary excellence and attention to detail.
