JOB DETAILS:
Role Summary:
To oversee the entire financial accounting function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
Budgeting: Lead the annual budgeting process and monitor performance against budgets.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with KRA regulations (VAT, PAYE, Withholding Tax) and file returns on time.
Audit: Liaise with external auditors and implement audit recommendations.
Payroll: Review and approve payroll computations before payment.
Cash Flow: Manage cash flow forecasting to ensure liquidity.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting. CPA (K) finalist. 5+ years experience, with at least 2 in a managerial role in hospitality.
