Job Opportunity: Chief Finance Officer (CFO) – Nairobi, Kenya

An insurance company is seeking a strategic and results-driven Chief Finance Officer (CFO) to join its executive leadership team in Nairobi.

Reporting to the CEO & Principal Officer, the CFO will provide strategic financial leadership, overseeing financial planning, risk management, investment strategy, and regulatory compliance. The role is pivotal in ensuring financial sustainability, strengthening governance, and driving long-term growth within Kenya’s insurance sector.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; Master’s degree an advantage.
• Professional certification (CPA (K), ACCA, CFA, or CIMA) with active membership.
• Minimum 8 years of senior financial management experience, including 5 in insurance or financial services.
• Expertise in financial reporting, capital planning, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

Contract: 3-year renewable under gratuity terms.
