Job Responsibilities

This role is critical in ensuring compliance, enhancing revenue assurance, and strengthening audit frameworks within this taxpayer category.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the planning, execution, and reporting of audit activities within the regional audit centre
- Developing and implementing audit strategies tailored to micro and small taxpayers
- Providing leadership and direction to audit teams to ensure high-quality audit outputs
- Monitoring compliance levels and identifying risk areas within the taxpayer segment
- Strengthening audit methodologies, tools, and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Coordinating with other departments to support enforcement and compliance initiatives
- Preparing audit reports and presenting findings to senior management
- Ensuring adherence to internal audit standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices
- Driving continuous improvement in audit processes and taxpayer engagement strategies
