Job Description

For appointment to this grade, an Officer must have:

• Cumulative service period of nine (9) years’ relevant work experience, three (3) of which should have been at the grade of Deputy Chief Nursing Officer or in a comparable position;
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or its equivalent from a recognised and accredited institution;
• Master’s Degree in Nursing or its equivalent from a recognised and accredited institution;
• Registered with a relevant professional body (where applicable);
• Valid practising license from the relevant professional body (where applicable); and
• Demonstrated a clear understanding of national development policies, goals and objectives and ability to integrate them in nursing functions.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: postgraduate degree
