DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide real-time interpretation during in-person meetings, virtual calls, presentations, and negotiations to ensure both Chinese and English-speaking participants understand discussions clearly.

Translate a variety of documents—including emails, reports, contracts, technical documents, and internal memos—while maintaining accuracy, context, and intended meaning.

Bridge communication gaps by explaining cultural nuances, business terminology, and contextual differences to help teams collaborate more effectively.

Assist team members with quick translations, clarifications, and communication needs that arise in day-to-day operations.

Convert lengthy Chinese or English documents into concise summaries or briefs to help teams quickly understand critical information.

Maintain an organized system for translated documents, ensuring proper filing, confidentiality, and easy retrieval.

Work closely with various teams—including management, operations, procurement, and HR—to support communication related to projects, schedules, and business processes.

Review translated materials from other sources for accuracy, consistency, grammar, and clarity before distribution.

Uphold professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion when handling sensitive information.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

Diploma or Degree in Languages, Communication, Translation Studies, or a related field.

Proven experience (1–3 years or more) in Chinese translation or interpretation within a business or institutional environment.

Excellent command of both Chinese (Mandarin) and English, with strong reading, writing, and speaking abilities.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and professionalism

Proficiency in translation tools or software is an added advantage
