Qualifications or requirements

For appointment to this position a candidate must:

• Be a citizen of Kenya;
• Have served and proven experience in administration or management either in Public or Private sector for a minimum period of three (3) years;
• Hold a Bachelors Degree from a University recognized in Kenya;
• Hold a post graduate qualification in Business, Management, Finance, Accounting or its equivalent;
• Be a member of a relevant professional association or body and in good standin
• Be in possession of at least Strategic Leadership Development Programme (SDP) lasting not less than six (6) weeks or its equivalent from a recognized institution;
• Have worked and resided in the Kisumu County for at least five (5) years; and
• Satisfy the requirements of Chapter (6) of the Constitution of Kenya.

Level of Education: postgraduate degree

Hard copies of application for employment form, national ID, academic and professional certificates should be physically delivered in a sealed envelope addressed to the undersigned, indicating the position applied for on top of the envelope to Kisumu County Public Service Board Offices, Okore Road Milimani during working hours on or before 16th October,2026 at 5.00p.m.

Those with foreign Degrees should have them authenticated by the Commission for University Education (CUE). In addition, during the interview, they will be required to submit their academic certificates authenticated by the issuing Institutions to the Board.
