Responsibilities or duties

As a Claims Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing and processing insurance claims accurately and efficiently.
  • Investigating claim details, gathering necessary documentation, and verifying policy coverage.
  • Assessing claim validity and determining appropriate settlement amounts in accordance with company policies and regulations.
  • Communicating with policyholders, claimants, and other stakeholders to provide updates and resolve inquiries.
  • Identifying potential fraud or abuse and escalating suspicious cases for further investigation.
  • Maintaining accurate and organized claim records.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of claims processing procedures.

Qualifications or requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in claims analysis or a similar role within the insurance industry.
  • Strong understanding of insurance principles, policies, and procedures.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

Experience needed

Minimum of 2 years of experience in claims analysis.
