JOB DETAILS:
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation across all company premises, including offices, pharmaceutical stores, and common areas.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clean and sanitise all offices, reception areas, boardrooms, and common areas daily
- Maintain pharmaceutical store areas in compliance with hygiene and GPP standards
- Clean and disinfect washrooms, kitchen areas, and staff facilities regularly
- Collect, sort, and safely dispose of waste in compliance with company policy
- Dust, mop, vacuum, and polish floors, surfaces, furniture, and fixtures
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the supervisor
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are properly stored after use
- Support office staff with minor tasks and general assistance as directed
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum KCSE / Form 4 certificate
- Previous experience in commercial or institutional cleaning preferred
- Knowledge of proper use of cleaning chemicals, disinfectants, and PPE
- Honest, reliable, thorough, and able to maintain high hygiene standards
- Physically fit and able to carry out physical cleaning duties
- Ability to work flexible hours including early morning shifts

Level of Education: high school
