Role Overview & Scope

A qualified female Clinical Officer is required to deliver outpatient clinical care, conduct physical examinations, diagnose common ailments, and prescribe appropriate medical treatments at the Kinoro facility.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

• Gender Preference: Female.
• Education: Diploma or Degree in Clinical Medicine and Surgery from a recognized institution.
• Licensing: Valid registration and active practicing license with the Clinical Officers Council (COC) of Kenya.
• Competencies: Strong clinical acumen, patient empathy, and effective communication skills.

• Patient Consultation & Diagnosis: Take patient histories, perform physical examinations, and diagnose medical conditions in outpatient settings.
• Treatment & Prescriptions: Order relevant diagnostic laboratory tests, interpret results, and prescribe evidence-based medical treatment.
• Emergency & Minor Procedures: Provide basic primary care, wound care, and triage minor clinical emergencies as required.
• Medical Documentation: Maintain clear, accurate, and confidential patient medical health records.
