Job Purpose

To oversee the day-to-day clinical operations of the nursing home while providing quality patient care, supervising clinical staff, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient clinical services.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of clinical staff.
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage common illnesses and injuries.
  • Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, ethical standards, and Ministry of Health regulations.
  • Review and maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
  • Coordinate referrals and follow-up care.
  • Monitor the availability of drugs, medical supplies, and clinical equipment.
  • Participate in quality improvement and infection prevention initiatives.
  • Prepare clinical and operational reports.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Medicine and Surgery.
  • Registered and licensed by the Clinical Officers Council.
  • Valid practicing license.
  • Previous supervisory experience is an added advantage.
