Position 3: Clinical Officer

Responsibilities or duties

Reporting to Head of Clinical Services, plan and implement clinical activities including providing interventional and preventative clinical care, examining/diagnosing/treating patients per MOH guidelines, attending to emergencies, reviewing patient files for quality documentation, leading corporate client and family communication, attending ward rounds, preparing medical reports, implementing community health activities, and sensitizing patients on preventive/promotive health.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

Minimum Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery (Higher Diploma/Degree added advantage), Registration Certificate from Clinical Officers' Council, Valid practicing license, Computer proficiency, Chapter 6 compliance.

Experience needed

2-4 years' experience

Post-Interview Requirements (Chapter 6): Certificate of Good Conduct (DCI), HELB Compliance/Loanee Certificate.
