Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Clinical Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients, diagnosing and treating illnesses, and promoting health and wellness.
Responsibilities
- Conduct medical examinations and consultations.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of illnesses and conditions.
- Prescribe medications and therapies.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as X-rays and laboratory results.
- Provide health education and counseling to patients and their families.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Stay current with medical advancements and best practices.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Clinical Medicine and Surgery from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration and a current practicing license from the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC).
- Proven experience as a Clinical Officer.
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in computer applications.
Experience
A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required.
