Scion hospital is an ultra- modern hospital registered in Kenya with three branches operating within Nairobi. Scion was founded in 2009 at Embakasi, along Airport North Road and has grown tremendously making Scion the Hospital of choice to more than 1,500,000 members.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Clinical Officer to deliver comprehensive, compassionate, and efficient healthcare services. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating illnesses, managing emergencies, performing minor surgical procedures, and ensuring high standards of patient care.

Responsibilities or duties

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine consultations, examine patients, diagnose conditions, and formulate treatment plans.
  • Administer emergency clinical interventions, resuscitation, and patient stabilization.
  • Perform minor surgical and outpatient procedures within scope of practice.
  • Refer complex medical cases to appropriate specialist consultants.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date patient electronic medical records.
  • Educate patients and communities on disease prevention and healthy lifestyle choices.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

Key Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Medicine and Surgery from a recognized institution.
  • Licensing: Active registration and valid practicing license from the relevant Medical Officers Council.
  • Skills: Excellent diagnostic skills, clinical judgment, empathetic communication, and ability to work under pressure.

Experience needed

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 -3 years of clinical experience in an active outpatient/inpatient setting.

  • Candidates currently based in Nairobi, highly Preferred
