Clinical Officer (5 Positions)

Role Summary

The Clinical Officer will provide comprehensive primary healthcare services by assessing, diagnosing, treating, and managing patients while promoting quality, ethical, and patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, examine, diagnose, and treat patients with various medical conditions.
  • Prescribe medications and treatment plans in accordance with clinical guidelines.
  • Perform minor medical procedures within the scope of practice.
  • Refer patients requiring specialized care to appropriate facilities.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
  • Participate in health education, disease prevention, and community outreach programs.
  • Collaborate with doctors, nurses, laboratory personnel, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, infection prevention, and quality standards.
  • Participate in continuous professional development activities.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Community Health or Clinical Medicine and Surgery from a recognized institution.
  • Valid practicing license from the relevant professional council.
  • Relevant clinical experience is an added advantage.
  • Strong clinical decision-making, communication, and interpersonal skills.
