JOB DETAILS:
Qualifications and Competencies
- Master's degree in clinical psychology
- At least 3 years clinical experience with patients
- Must have a valid Kenya Psychological Association license to practice
Key Responsibilities
- Identify client's psychological, emotional, or behavioural issues
- Assess, formulate, and diagnose a patient's needs, abilities or behaviour using a variety of methods, including psychometric tests, interviews, and direct observation of behaviour
- Diagnose psychological, emotional, or behavioural disorders Develop and implement treatment plans and therapeutic processes
- Help clients define goals and plan action to achieve personal, social. educational, and vocational development and adjustment
- Provide direct therapy based on the individual needs of patients, working within the allowed scope of the Psychologists training, license/ registration, and expertise.
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 36
Level of Education: postgraduate degree
