The Collection Officer will be responsible for following up on loan repayments, ensuring timely collections, maintaining strong client relationships, and minimizing delinquency.

  1. Follow up with clients on overdue loan repayments through calls, visits, and reminders.
  2. Negotiate and agree on repayment plans with clients in arrears.
  3. Maintain accurate records of collections and update payment regularly.
  4. Work closely with Branch Managers and the credit team to reduce non-performing loans.
  5. Ensure all collections are conducted in a professional, ethical, and compliant manner.
  6. Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field (preferred).
  7. Proven experience in collections, microfinance, or lending institution is an added advantage.
  8. Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
  9. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  10. Ability to work independently and meet targets.
  11. Willingness to travel within assigned areas.
  12. Competitive salary plus performance-based incentives.
