Contacting debtors: Reaching out to customers via phone, email, or letter about overdue accounts. Negotiating payments: Working with customers to create mutually beneficial repayment plans. Resolving issues: Addressing customer complaints and liaising with other departments to resolve invoice and payment discrepancies. Record keeping: Maintaining accurate and detailed records of all communication and payments. Reporting: Providing management with regular updates on collection progress. Organization: The ability to manage a caseload of accounts, track payments, and maintain detailed records. Problem-solving: The ability to identify and resolve the root causes of payment issues. Empathy: The capacity to handle sensitive situations with understanding, particularly when dealing with customers in financial hardship.
