The Commercial Land Acquisition Officer will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, negotiating, and securing land for commercial projects such as real estate developments, infrastructure, utilities, telecommunications, or industrial facilities.

• Identify suitable land for commercial projects.
• Conduct land ownership and title due diligence.
• Negotiate land purchases, leases, and access agreements.
• Prepare acquisition reports and recommendations.
• Coordinate with surveyors, lawyers, valuers and government agencies.
• Manage relationships with landowners and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate land acquisition records.
• Monitor project timelines and acquisition budget.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS or QGIS).
• Property or land management systems.
• Document management software.
• Understanding of land acquisition law, property rights, contract law, zoning & planning regulations, environmental compliance and compensation procedures.

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Land Economics, Surveying/Geomatics, Urban & Regional Planning, Property Management, or Law.
• Master's degree is an advantage.
• Membership/registration with relevant professional bodies is an added advantage.
