VACANCY FOR POSITION OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FACILITATOR
The objective of the job is:
To build capacities of target communities to utilize the available resources for improved food security, nutrition and income.
Key Requirements and Experience
Diploma in Sustainable Agriculture, or Agriculture Extension with 2 years of working with communities in agriculture or Certificate in Sustainable Agriculture or Agriculture and Extension with 3 years or more experience in agriculture community related projects. Passionate and committed to empowering marginalized individuals and communities so that they can achieve decent livelihoods from available resources.
Ability and experience in teaching/facilitation;
Experience of working in a structured organization;
Experience in participatory management and program approaches
Conflict management skills;
Good analytical, writing, reporting and presentation skills;
Excellent communication skills;
Must be computer literate, conversant with operating software applications; and
Experience with donor community will be an added advantage.
Skills in riding motorbike
