Job Profile:

Signature Healthcare Limited an ISO 9001:2015, ISO 22301:2019, WHO-GDP and a Blue Certified Company that specializes in the importation and marketing of pharmaceuticals is looking for a Company Driver to join their vibrant team.

Job Requirements:

To ensure timely delivery of orders, safeguarding and marketing the company’s brand and maintaining its image and maintenance of company vehicles.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the Company van is well maintained and clean at all times.
  • To notify the Management in advance in regards to servicing of company vehicles, insurance expiry and county council parking license and any other car maintenance requirements.
  • Ensuring that the annual NTSA vehicle inspection is booked, conducted and licensed
  • Delivery of customer orders within Nairobi
  • Confirming before dispatch that proper documentation is done and carried during delivery and stamped after delivery
  • Confirming with the client each item on the invoice for accuracy and acquiring a stamp upon delivery
  • Assist in implementation of marketing strategies during delivery
  • Acquiring customer feedback, submitting to the office and addressing complaints on/during delivery.
  • Assist credit department with collecting due accounts within Nairobi region and updating the Credit Department on the same.
  • Cleaning of the warehouse at designated areas
  • Assist in offloading, confirmation and stacking of cartons upon receiving of consignments
  • Any other task as from time to time be given by supervisor or management.

Minimum Requirements:

Educational background includes a KCSE Certificate and/or Diploma in any Field.

Previous experience as a driver in the FMCG/Pharmaceutical Industry or Courier Services is an added advantage.

Experience in sales with a proven enthusiasm for sales and marketing.

Skills:

  • Exceptional interpersonal, Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with numbers
  • Leadership acumen/leadership strength
  • Adaptable to different situations and environments
  • Attention to detail
  • Strategic vision / comprehensive understanding of businesses and organizational needs
