COMPANY MANAGER (MARKETING SPECIALIST) – COSMETICS INDUSTRY
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Company Manager (Marketing Specialist) to lead operational and marketing activities in the cosmetics sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing business management, sales growth, marketing strategy, and operational coordination, while building strong relationships with retail and distribution partners.
This role requires a professional with strong leadership abilities, in-depth cosmetics industry knowledge, and experience managing imports, customs clearance, and product distribution.
Key Responsibilities
Management Duties
- Represent the company in dealings with government authorities, business partners, and customs clearance agencies.
- Manage and supervise office staff, ensuring punctuality, productivity, and proper execution of assigned duties.
- Oversee company financial operations including M-Pesa accounts, daily expenses, rent payments, utility bills, and license renewals.
- Supervise sales operations, product shipping, and delivery, resolving any operational issues that arise.
- Prepare monthly sales reports, analyze performance, and propose strategies to improve sales and overcome challenges.
- Coordinate customs clearance for imported cosmetics products, manage product inventory, and report stock levels to leadership.
- Perform any other duties assigned by company leadership.
Marketing Duties
- Develop and implement quarterly, semi-annual, and annual marketing strategies.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities by engaging with potential clients and partners.
- Establish and maintain relationships with retail and distribution companies.
- Lead and supervise the sales team, ensuring targets are met and performance is monitored.
- Manage the digital marketing and social media team, assigning tasks and ensuring effective execution of campaigns.
- Oversee customer relations, public relations, and service quality to maintain strong brand reputation.
- Perform additional marketing-related duties as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in management, Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
- Master's Degree is an added advantage.
Experience & Requirements
- Minimum 8 years' experience in business management.
- At least 5 years' experience in the cosmetics industry.
- Strong knowledge of customs clearance procedures for imported products.
- Proven relationship with retail chains and distribution companies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage operations effectively.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
