TENDER  ADVERTISEMENT

THE Ministry of Education (State Department for Basic Education) through the BOM Chianda High School intends to carry out the followingwithinthe school compound ona full contract basis:

SC/MOE/SCMS/CHS/001/2022-2023                     Completion of Storey Dormitory Block            31st January 2023

In this regard, the BOM, therefore, do hereby invite prospective, eligible and interested contractors to participate in the bidding process for the aforesaid construction works.Only those who meet the following requirementswill be considered;

1. The tender Is signed by the person with power of attorney,without material deviation.reservation or omission
2. There is letter grantingpower of attorney to signthe contract
3. Tenderer must be a legally registered entity
4. If tenderer is a Joint Venture, It must be properly constituted
5. A Valid Tax Compliance Certificate, for Kenyan tenderers.In case of a foreign company, a document equivalent to Kenyan  Tax Compliance Certificate
6. Goods, materials,equipment must befrom eligiblecountries (Countries not considered enemy states to Kenya) 
7. Foreign tenderer who meets the minimum forty (40%) percent rule of local contributions
8. A Tender Security/Bid Bond of Kshs 220,000/=
9. A Tenderer who has adequate relevant experience In similar works
10. Tenderer who has not been debarred by PPRA or any other recognized institution
11. Tenderer which is commercially autonomous Kenyanstate owned Enterprise
12. Tenderer who has no conflict ofinterests
13. Tenderer which has met all scope of requirements and specifications without any material deviations, reservations or omissionsu
14. Tenderer which is not insolvent. inreceivership,bankrupt orinthe process of beingwound up
15. The tender that Is valid for the required number of days 
16. The tenderer who has appropriately filled the Tender form
17. The tenderer who hasadequatelyfilled the Confidential Business Questionnaire and related documents
18. Tenderer who shall have met all other conditions ascontained inthe Standard BiddingDocument.
