Role Context

We are seeking a diligent and proactive Compliance Officer to ensure adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. This role is crucial in maintaining our operational integrity and upholding our commitment to ethical business practices.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with all applicable local and international laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular internal audits and assessments to identify potential compliance risks.
  • Investigate compliance issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Liaise with external regulatory bodies and auditors.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance matters.
  • Keep abreast of changes in legislation and regulations affecting the company.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Compliance Officer or in a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant laws and regulations (e.g., labor laws, environmental regulations, trade compliance).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a compliance-related role, preferably within the manufacturing or apparel industry.
